Als Vice President Finance & Operations nimmst du eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Gestaltung der finanziellen und operativen Strategien des Unternehmens ein. Dein Aufgabenbereich umfasst ein breites Spektrum an Funktionen, die für den Erfolg und das Wachstum von envelio entscheidend sind. Dabei stehen stragetische Visionen sowie dein kooperativer Führungsstil als Schlüsselfaktoren im Fokus.

Diese Aufgaben erwarten dich

Du bist Teil unseres Management-Teams und berichtest direkt an unseren CEO. In deiner Rolle identifizierst du Wachstums- und Effizienzpotenziale und treibst aktiv die Geschäftsentwicklung von envelio voran
Du leitest alle Funktionen der Abteilung Finance & Operations; dazu gehören die Bereiche Finance, Business Analytics und Business Operations
Du bist verantwortlich für die Geschäftsplanung einschließlich unterjähriger Prognosen, jährlicher Budgetierung und langfristiger Geschäftspläne und leitest die Auswirkungen auf die Equity Story für Investor Relations ab
Du beaufsichtigst unsere operativen Prozesse und sorgst für Skalierbarkeit und Compliance
Als VP Finance unterstützt und führst du ein motiviertes Team, das aktuell aus fünf Vollzeitmitarbeiter:innen und zwei Werkstudent:innen besteht. Drei der Vollzeitangestellten zählen zu deinen direct reports

Das bringst du mit

Fundierte Erfahrung im Finanzbereich; vorzugsweise in einem schnelllebigen und wachsenden Unternehmen
Begeisterung und Passion als Führungsperson ein Team zu unterstützen und zu leiten sowie den Fachbereich weiter zu gestalten
Du weißt strategische und operative Themen mühelos miteinander zu verbinden und hast Spaß an praktischen Themen wie Excel-Modellierung und Geschäftsprozessgestaltung
Ausgeprägter Geschäftssinn und Verständnis dafür, wie die Finanz- und Betriebsfunktion den besten Wert für das Unternehmen schafft
Ausgezeichnete kommunikative und zwischenmenschliche Skills mit der Fähigkeit, enge Beziehungen aufzubauen und Stakeholder auf allen Ebenen zu beeinflussen
Analytische Denkweise mit dem Know-How, datengestützte Argumente und Entscheidungen zu treffen
Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (schriftlich und verbal)

The Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP) is a software for the digitalization and automation of technical processes for distribution grid operators.

As the Vice President of Finance & Operations, you play a crucial role in shaping the financial and operational strategies of envelio. Your responsibilities involve a wide range of functions that are important to the success and healthy growth of the organization. To achieve that, your supportive leadership style and strategic vision are key factors.

Your tasks and responsibilities

You are a direct report to the CEO and a member of our management team, where you actively drive envelio’s business performance by identifying growth and efficiency potential
You provide leadership and guidance for all Finance & Operations department functions which include Finance, Business Analytics, and Business Operations
You own business planning including intra-year forecasts, yearly budgeting, long-term business plans and derive the implications on equity story for investor relations
You drive the analytics capabilities to enable data-driven decision making based on actionable insights
You oversee our operational processes while ensuring scalability and compliance
You lead and support a team of motivated professionals, which currently comprises 5 full-time employees and 2 working students, with 3 of them being your direct reports

What you need to succeed

Proven experience as a supportive leader in a Finance role, preferably within a fast-paced and growing company
Easily balance strategic and operational topics and enjoy hands-on topics such as Excel modelling and business process design
Strong business acumen and understanding of how the Finance & Operations function creates best value for the business
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-based arguments and decisions
Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
