Als Project Engineer (w/m/d) bist du Teil unseres Customer Implementation Teams, welches für den gesamten Prozess der Implementierung neuer Kunden verantwortlich ist. Bei der Implementierung geht es u.a. um die Koordinierung externer und interner Stakeholder sowie die technische Einrichtung der Intelligent Grid Platform und erfolgreiche Datenintegration. In deiner Rolle kombinierst du Projektmanagement mit technischer Umsetzung und stellst damit sicher, dass Nutzer:innen das volle Potenzial der Software entfalten können. 
Diese Aufgaben erwarten dich
  • Du bist verantwortlich für das Management unserer Implementierungsprojekte mit Verteilnetzbetreibern und Versorgungsunternehmen 
  • Basierend auf Kundenanforderungen und Quellsystemen (z.B. GIS, ERP, Software zum Betriebsmittelmanagement, zur Abrechnung oder Netzsimulation) erstellst du Konzepte zur Datenintegration und detaillierte Datenanalysen 
  • Du nutzt das existierende Framework zur Datenintegration, um kundenspezifische Software-Schnittstellen zu implementieren und so einen erfolgreichen Import von Kundendaten sicherzustellen 
  • Gemeinsam mit den Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) verwaltest du die Bereitstellung der Plattform an Kundinnen und Kunden 
  • Du lieferst unseren Anwender:innen Insights und hilfst ihnen dabei, die Datenqualität zu verbessern 
  • Basierend auf Kundenfeedback unterstützt du die strategische Produktentwicklung
Das bringst du mit
  • Dein Studium hast du in Elektrotechnik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Energietechnik/Erneuerbare Energien oder einem vergleichbaren Studiengang abgeschlossen   
  • Du verfügst über Kenntnisse zu Energieverteilungssystemen und Stromnetzen 
  • Du hast Erfahrungen im Management von IT-Projekten
  • Du hast Erfahrung in der Netzmodellierung in Leistungsflussberechnungen und/oder Geo-Informationssystemen (GIS) 
  • Du hast mindestens ein grundlegendes Verständnis von ETL-Prozessen, bzw. Datenintegrationsprozessen 
  • Du hast gute Python und SQL (bevorzugt Postgres) Fähigkeiten 
  • Du hast Spaß an der Arbeit im Team und bist motiviert, in einer innovativen und schnellen Arbeitsumgebung zu arbeiten 
  • Dein Arbeitsstil ist außerdem geprägt von einer strukturierten und ergebnisorientierten Denkweise 
  • Du hast gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und kannst dein Team motivieren und einbinden 
  • Du sprichst fließend Englisch und Deutsch

The two web-application platforms enable grid operators to digitalize and automate their processes. 
 
As Project Engineer (f/m/d) Smart Grids, you will be part of our Customer Implementation team, which is responsible for the whole implementation process of new customers. The implementation includes the coordination of external and internal stakeholders as well as the technical setup of the Intelligent Grid Platform and a successful data integration. In your role, you will combine project management with hands-on technical execution to make sure that the customer can tap the software's full potential. 
Your tasks and responsibilities
  • You are responsible for managing our implementation projects with distribution grid operators and utilities 
  • You create data integration concepts based on customer requirements, source systems (e.g. GIS, ERP, Asset Management, Billing, Grid Simulation Software) and detailed data analysis 
  • You implement custom software interfaces using the existing data integration framework to ensure a successful import of customer data 
  • You manage the provisioning of the platform to the customer together with site reliability engineers (SRE) 
  • You provide insights to the customers in order to help improve data quality 
  • You support the strategic developmment of our products
What you need to succeed
  • You have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or a comparable field of study   
  • You have a good understanding of energy distribution systems and electrical power grids 
  • You have experience in the management of IT projects 
  • You have experience with grid modelling in power flow calculations and/or geo-information systems (GIS) 
  • You have at least basic understanding of ETL processes, i.e., data integration processes 
  • You have good Python and SQL (preferably Postgres) skills 
  • You enjoy teamwork and are motivated to work in an innovative and fast paced environment
  • Your working style is characterized by a structured and result-oriented way of thinking 
  • You have excellent communication skills and can motivate and engage your team 
  • You are fluent in English and German
